It's official!
After a lot of paperwork and stress, I have received my student visa!!!!! It's unreal. In less than six short weeks, I am moving to Italy!! I have been so anxious. I met up with my friend who went to SYA Italy last year and I am using his advice to plan some trips and practice my Italian already. Italian is such a pretty language but my Spanish has begun to throw me off! The two are very similar. I'm not worried though; I have a feeling once I move in with my new family abroad and begin to speak over there I will lose the influence from español. Speaking of my new family, I have been emailing them! I am dying to meet my new host sister, brother, and parents! I am already being referred to as la loro famiglia ! They ski and play tennis like me. They also live in a nice house pretty close to my school, so I hope I don't get to lost throughout the first few weeks! I have already began the bucket list..... aiutami ! So much to do!
